New Mommy Breastfeeding Support Group
Hosted by Tess Johnson, International Board Certified Lactation Consultant
Please join our warm circle of friendship as we gather to discuss the ups and downs of breastfeeding. This group is amazing! It's a very positive, judgment-free space to share your story and pick up great tips from other moms who understand. Bring your baby, feel free to invite a friend, and remember that all are welcome, whether or not they're exclusively breastfeeding. It's all about feeding with love for our little ones, so come join us! Check out Tess' Facebook event page to find the next scheduled meeting.

ICAN of Fresno
International Cesarean Awareness Network - Facilitated by Deborah Eacock
Local chapter of the International Cesarean Awareness Network (ICAN).
From the official website..." The International Cesarean Awareness Network is a non-profit organization whose mission is to improve maternal-child health by reducing preventable cesareans through education, supporting cesarean recovery, and advocating for vaginal birth after cesarean (VBAC.)"
We love this quote from the Fresno facilitator:
“C-section mamas need support and they need each other. Women who desire a VBAC deserve to have good education and support for their choice – especially with all the myths and misconceptions that are out in the public.” ~ Deborah Eacock, ICAN of Fresno

Kids Like Us-Fresno
Connecting families from Fresno county's LGBT+ community
Kids Like Us is facilitated by Robin Johnston Mcgehee, a community activist and LGBT mama of two. The group meets periodically to host events and play-dates that connect same sex parents and give their kiddos the opportunity to play with their peers from similar family dynamics. The group also meets at community events, such as the annual Earth Day celebration, and gets together for holiday themed events, like pumpkin decorating and trick-or-treating around Halloween. All LGBGT+ families with children are welcome.
